Back To Today.

Today is the seventh day of the Jewish month of Av, 5757 years from Creation. It coincides with the tenth day of August 1997.

I live in New Jersey. I can be in Israel within fifteen hours, depending on the traffic on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.

I can flick a switch and together with many billions of people I can view something that is happening on the other side of the world.

I can touch a moon-rock as well as a remnant of the Berlin Wall.

In recent years, large segments of mankind seem to be experiencing disillusionment for one reason or another.

Many people fear extinction or upheaval from social, economic, or nuclear reasons. Many people feel isolated. There is a great demand for forms of entertainment and escape.

I see strong trends towards polarity and strong trends away from polarity.

Tolerance is a practiced and enforced ethic for most for Mankind. Women can vote. Blacks can sit anywhere on a bus.

While it still exists, today’s anti-Semitism is significantly less violent and destructive than in the recent past.

Where individuality is encouraged I observe conformity and brainwash via mass media. People are not thinking. People are not growing. They know it, enjoy it, but are not comfortable with it.

Israel keeps on popping up in the news.

So what are you going to do about it?
